With a Ph.D. in Law from Panjab University and a professional foundation in commerce and law, Dr. Bhalla has developed academic and research expertise in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Cyber and IT Law, E-Banking and Financial Law, and Legal Implications of Artificial Intelligence. His contributions include Scopus-indexed publications on AI-driven legal literacy, trademark law in cyberspace, and legal aspects of digital banking.

Currently serving as Professor and Head of the BCOMLL.B (Hons) program at Chandigarh University, she brings a distinctive blend of academic rigor and interdisciplinary insight to the field of law. She holds a Ph.D. in Law with a specialized focus on the legal implications of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in India and is a UGC-NET qualified scholar. An alumna of Punjab and Delhi Universities, she ranked second in her LL.M. at Punjab University. Dr. Arora has guided more than 70 postgraduate dissertations and several doctoral theses in areas such as international humanitarian law and the Responsibility to Protect (R2P).
